Roswell Children’s Boutique Hosting Grand Opening

KooKoo Bear Baby and Kids Inc., marketer of upscale children’s furniture, room décor and gifts, announces the opening of its flagship children’s retail store in Roswell, Ga. The store will hold a Grand Opening, featuring sales and specials, on Saturday, November 7, 2009 to reveal their new Holiday lines in time for the Shopping season.

“We had an overwhelming customer demand to open a larger retail store that offered an unparalleled shopping experience where people could touch and feel our high quality merchandise,” said Tara Mediate, president of KooKoo Bear Baby and Kids. Our products have been featured throughout the media including InStyle Magazine, NBC Today Show, Pregnancy Magazine, and other acclaimed publications and we needed to address the local market with a high quality retail shopping experience.

Tara created KooKoo Bear Baby and Kids out of necessity said Trace Walsh, vice president of creative design at KooKoo Bear Kids. She wanted to send a baby gift to her brother and sister-in-law and wanted something besides the typical cookie basket, gourmet foods or flowers. Tara needed a special place to shop to celebrate the birth of her nephew. This “shop” needed to have the right selection of unique gifts and have excellent customer service. A “shop” where one could find the perfect gift: accessories for a dreamy nursery…stylish gifts for Mom…stylish gifts for baby and beyond.

Problem, such a “shop” did not exist. Solution: Tara did what any mother would do, she solved the problem by creating KooKoo Bear Baby and Kids. (She could have called it “Cloud Nine” since your nursery decorating dreams come true the moment you walk into their Flagship Store.)

KooKoo Bear Baby and Kids store is located in Sweet Apple Village at 12060 Etris Road in Roswell, GA. The store will be open between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. Personalized gifts and designer products from Young America by Stanley Furniture, Lea Furniture, Rachel Ashwell’s Shabby Chic, Traditions by Pamela Kline, Petunia Pickle Bottom, and Rub a Dub Dub are just some of the specialty items offered at the store and on-line.
